I have to laugh a little, because we use SMART in educaiton in devising IEPs for special education kids. I'm pretty familiar with SMART goals.

I'm not big on New Years Resolutions. I like to say I make plans, not resolutions. I also shy away from result based plans and focus on process based plans. ("I will attend fitness class 5x/week" as opposed to "I will lose 5 lbs this week.") One of the problems with fitness outcomes is that there is so much ELSE... so much that's out of our control... that impacts certain measures.

One of the things I find in both education, WL blogging, and life in general, is that people don't understand the difference... and that they can't be specific about their planned processes.

hmmm... this comment will turn into a blog itself.

I'll post on my blog.
