Onward & Oatward.

By MizFit | November 8, 2008

subtitle: yes, my patient Peeps, this is it for today.

You shall get a break from the oatslaught (get it? onslaught of oats? no? oh. ok).

If only you could see me all gussied up & ready for a No Doz night on the town (if by all gussied up you mean clad in denim, a grownup shirt & boots—-which I do).

Im doing ya’ll proud.

Have a great rest of your weekend.

I look forward to meeting a few of you tonight/tomorrow morning and shall see all of you Monday with our regularly scheduled rambling facetime.

hmmm for some reason my comments wont take BUT suffice it to say that the biggest DIRTIEST 9oooh foreshadowing) gossip of the weekend is the fact that I potentially flashed all of downtown Chicago.

(I havent seen the newspaper yet today—-you?)

    Details to follow.

Me? Im all kinds of lucky up in herre and am off to meet Roni of Green Light Bites and lift some weights & talk.

(hopefully more of the former than the latter)

Love all the photos (and the rhyme, of course!). Think I’ll go and eat some oats and pretend that I’m there with you lot:)

The denim, grown up shirt and boots have conjured up a funny image in my head of you all decked out in Texas cowgirl gear. Perhaps it was? One can never tell with you. ;) I hope you had a great time - can’t wait to hear more.

oh how funny that would have been, Melany.
To show up bedazzled & bedecked like a bandanna wearing cowgirl.

    Alas the boots are purple.
    More funk than cow.

I’ll off to mingle & then heading back Deep in the Heart.

    Stories for tuesday.

So glad you weren’t arrested. I was a tad fearful of having to scrounge up bail money. :)

    Safe travels…

Have a wonderful, wonderful time! And thanks for your comment on my new headshot. I’m happy to be looking at a new picture of myself after over a year, too! :)

Oh, and I know you sing the praises of strength training all the time . . . because I read all you have to say about it . . . and all that the Bumbling Band has to say about it . . . and I KNOW that it is good for runners . . . and for everybody . . . but I just figured out how RIGHT you are for myself with a balance ball training program over the last four weeks! I’m slow on the uptake sometimes. :) So all of your repetition has paid off for this runner girl. Thanks! I’ll be sticking with it, too.
