An Ode to my Crappy Email.
By MizFit | November 13, 2008
(thumbtyped in exasperation.)
What’s the DEAL, Tmobile?
You I used to like.
No more. Uh uh.
(Love to say: TAKE A HIKE!)
On my Sidekick™
It’s not good. This I know.
But still it’s your JOB
to make my email GO!
People they miffed.
From friends to the Band.
“Why you *no* respond!?!”
PR peeps demand.
MizFit? She sighs.
Where’d the dang emails go?
She’s responded to all.
so this much she know:
If you need to reach me
just send & resend.
Some day my Tmobile
it will work again.*
*if by again you mean I may entirely break up with Tmobile and get a new phone—–which I would were the economy not so challenging right now as Ive signed on with Tmobile until I turn 90.

Oh Gosh. That doesn’t sound like fun at all. For a while my blackberry was eating my emails and removing them from the Enterprise Server, even when I didn’t ask it to. Did you try a soft-reboot? Turn off phon.e Remove battery. Dance around for 30 seconds. Reattach battery. Turn phone back on. This forces it to re-find the towers.

It’s such a sad thing when a love like your thumbs had dies so painfully! Don’t worry, there’s lots of providers in the sea

I hate cell phones. Sprint owns me until Sept. 2009. It makes me sad that when I changed my plan, they got to renew my contract. Didn’t know that or I wouldn’t have done it!

Did you try a soft-reboot?
you know, I did but DAYS ago.
trying again.
thanks.

Ugh… thats why I never got a SideKick. Everyone always had problems! I love my BlackBerry though!! Maybe, if you call and complain to T-Mobile enough, they’ll send you a new one!!

November 13th, 2008 at 4:23 pm

November 13th, 2008 at 4:51 pm
this is funny!
November 13th, 2008 at 4:55 pm
sadly. seriously. completely. I. think. in. rhyme.
It’s either a disorder (prelutsky’itis) or a gift.
The former if you’re me.
The latter if your name rhymes with moctor meuss.

T-Mobile customer service department is my free therapy…seriously, call them and talk til you feel better
November 13th, 2008 at 5:31 pm
I feel your pain. I don’t get t-mobile service in my house. It hurts. I’m breaking up with them this spring when they no longer own me.
November 13th, 2008 at 6:08 pm
Good luck! I hate when there’s technology breakdown.
November 13th, 2008 at 7:27 pm
Oy. I’m so sorry to hear. I hate it when technology fails. I get the shakes when I lose internet for more than 15 minutes.
Thanks for posting this though. I was considering switching TO tmobile.

Boo!
I’m on that contract too. We’ve been together for 10 years and they’ve got me for life!
November 13th, 2008 at 9:05 pm
Get the Tmobile Wing! I love love love it. Don’t get the G1. My friend got one two days ago and already hates it.

Take it to the store where you got it. Set toddler on counter. Tell them you just gave the toddler 3 helpings of prunes and she is sitting right there until they FIX IT! FIX IT! FIX IT!
November 14th, 2008 at 6:34 am
oh Marianne that’s a good idea and, TMI, all it takes is a HALF A PRUNE up in herre.
November 14th, 2008 at 7:47 am
LOL…okay, I’m going to show my age and geekiness here…wasn’t it Murdock on “The A Team” who used to speak in rhyme all the time, and that was one of the main signs that he was “Howling Mad”?
Not saying you’re crazy or anything. Just saying.
JK. I love the rhymes, don’t ever stop. They make me laugh until I drop. I laugh, I giggle, I chortle, I snort, at EVERY post of the rhyming sort.

I hope it starts working

I hear you! My contract will actually last longer than our stay in the US. Which means we’ll still be paying monthly fees after I’m back in Switzerland. And while I am here, I am wishing I could get a different phone, with a different company.
November 14th, 2008 at 10:19 pm
This cracked me up! Best of luck with your connectivity issues. In the meantime, we all feel your pain.
I think I’ll use this strategy of venting next time I need it!
November 16th, 2008 at 10:17 am
uch - i, too, am stuck with Tmobile, having signed my soul away. i feel your pain, girlfriend. At least we have this interweb thing in my office to help me out.
November 17th, 2008 at 6:33 pm
Please do not bust out the pooping toddler technique. Think of the rest of us at the store.
October 13th, 2009 at 6:12 am
Yuck. So sorry about the evil phone company. I tried the Palm Pre and hated it. I’m quite fond of my Blackberry Pearl now (purchased on Craig’s List).
