This weekend, I’m resting a lot, though I will take the dogs for nice long walks as long as the weather’s nice. And Sunday I’ll hit the gym.
But Monday - for MLK National Day of Service- I’m working with 3rd graders in a violent, economically depressed city to help them plant their section of the school FARM. They learn about the life cycle of plants, nutrition, and get to take the healthy foods home. I’ll be mulching and carrying loads of dirt. So rest I need.

I 2nd the motion about toys that don’t make noise. Dear boy is playing with the remote-controlled monster truck received for Xmas from his loving uncle…the dog does not enjoy monster truck as much as the boy…yap yap yap says the dog; ha ha ha says the boy. BOOMBOOMBOOM says mom’s head. Alas, truck battery needs recharging. Where to hide the remote, thinks the mom.

I keep “meaning” to sign up for that pound for pound challenge and forgetting…because I’m never at my ‘puter when I think of it, I’m always watching BL. So thanks for the nudge, I’m going to do it right now. If I’m going to lose - and I am, by golly - then I may as well contribute to this, right?

This weekend will be (hopefully) fun-filled as I travel south for my half-marathon, then hang out Sunday in Vegas watching football (go Cardinals and Steelers!). Then Monday is drive home day. Hooray for a 4-day weekend (thanks to paid vacation time and the holiday).

That’s the main reason I launched the seal. I love love love my Dirty Red skirt (seal of approval for sure) where as other items (which I wont mention since I feel it would be unfair as they didnt ask me to review knowing all products wouldnt be sealed) Id not suggest, were you watching your pennies & not entering for a freebie, the Bumbling Band follow suit and buy.
(and the tattoo you noticed: was it nape of neck?!)
