Finally watched the video. My first thought (since I'm so oddly isolated):

Ask my online friends to send me a photo of themselves + a word or phrase of support/encouragement. Then make these into a little book. (done. Will again, but I just tweeted it).

Other than that, my first aid kit would have:
my computer
some peanut butter and a spoon
the DVD of Major League
Eat, Pray, Love
The Creative Habit

hmm.. photos and music but those are all on my computer...

this was such a good "exercise" for me - I think I would put magazines, a mini photo album, and even some positive affirmations written on index cards in my first aid box - oh and maybe even some nail polish to help distract me/kill time.

Hmm, I really don't know. The concept of a personal first-aid kit kind of... escapes me. Things that I need or would like to help me get on track are things I kind of have around me all the time.

First, I love your approach that it's all a work in progress...so right on!

I'm thinking quick, and not to sound too corny -- but I'll often close my eyes and go to my "happy place" (remember that from Seinfeld?). Just remember a time and place when I felt really happy. And the place isn't when I fit into my skinny jeans, or have the right number on the scale.

Just a time when I felt really happy, and I remember the feeling.

I also keep lots of inspirational books around. I also keep any nice notes, letters, or comments people have written or sent me. Reminds me of the positive impact I have on other people, and what good qualities I have (though I know I have faults too!)

And yes, chocolate. Just a little of a good quality one goes a long way...
