  1. Unfortunately no Irish confettti! Although totally understandable Miz. Roll on January when I am back in CA and can take part in all the giveaways!

    Good luck to everyone!

  2. Nan says:

    I can’t win either :(

I did want to say that your radio interview ROCKED, Miz.

    You were awesome.

  3. Helen says:

My Triceps Flap Like LunchLady Arms by Helen.

(Does that work?? I WANT THIS :) )

  4. Erica says:

Ow! Tricep dips :) :) The new Kardashian is ridiculous…but I love it ;) Off to listen to the recording of the radio show!! Have a good one

  5. Bea says:

    **YAY FOR CANADA**

I would use this to stretch I think.

My Hamstrings Are Like Steel Bands by Bea.

You were amazing with the radio show, Miz.

    Can you do podcasts?

  6. Oh, definitely the triceps exercise too! After losing all my weight my arms leave a bit to be desired. They are strong, but could be more toned – right?

  7. Tricep dips – right now I don’t have a real good way to do those. This looks like it would at least be a starting place for them.

BTW, I am glad to see you posted a link to the show. I’ll be checking that out when I get back from this work trip.

  8. Allie says:

    Sigh.
I guess shipping to the UK would be expensive though :)

Off to listen to your show.

  9. Hanlie says:

    No Rainbow Nation graffiti either!

    It looks great though!

  10. dragonmamma/naomi w. says:

A person could get really creative with those!

First thing that pops into my mind? A gymnastics balance/core strength thing, I think it’s called The Lever, where you balance on your hands with your legs straight in front of you, it’s usually done on hanging rings.

  11. suganthi says:

    ha ha..
i would love to use if for hurdles.. what other way to feel that child-like joy

Honestly though.. will it be another piece of euipment collecting dust in the basement..

But I can stretch my hamstrings.. this one I am determined to conquer.. off to do my reclined hamstring strecth. Hold my leg up and meditate till it gives..

  12. Jodie says:

I would use it for dips and rows and a lot of other different exercises.

  13. kikimonster says:

I’ve been wanting one of these since the first time you showed this. Id loved to do some tricep dips to get rid of my bat wings :)

  14. suganthi says:

oh oh.. I just saw Dr.J’s link. And I have to say “no” to instant gratification like a child to hurdles and go with the hamstring strecth. I just realized it doubles like a barre for barre-type workouts or to use it with my “Clasical Stretch” DVDs instead of putting my feet up the side of the couch.

May be Miz will include my name twice in the drawing for two comments ;) ..

  15. Andy says:

    Busting the Back.

I need these for my tiny lats ;)

    Loved the radio show, MizFit.

  16. Amy H. says:

It’s a good thing there are two of those yellow thingies, cuz I have two kids and they would each need their own to swing on. My bike might look good hooked up to it. Seriously tho, I really need those, because I need someplace to put all my dirty laundry. No…really now. I would do the pull ups on my back that you demonstrated.

  17. sarahbb says:

Oh, I SO need that for dips. My stairs/chairs just aren’t cutting it and I always feel awkward being the only one in sight doing them at the gym.

I would like to say I’d use it for hurdles, but I think I’d probably do more harm than good.

  18. Kimmy says:

I Need Cardio Challenge by Kimmy

I would use these to jump and leap over and get my heart rate up at home.

    Pick me ;)

  19. Those are really interesting and very vesatile.

I think me personally I would liek the stretches, though looking through the different things to do I see my son using it too and doing a lot of them for over all fitness.

  20. OMG, too cool!!!!!!!!!!! Pick ONE!!! Are you crazy! I want to do them all!!!!

But since you asked, I am working on doing a free weight chin-up so the back stuff is good for that BUT I LOVE the look of the ab work BUT I need the stretching work so much more as I get older… OH crap, the tris & chest look cool too!!!!! All of them look cool!

YUP, I can’t pick just one. I want to do every single dang one of them!!!!

Random generator, pick me!!! Do you think it is listening!!!

  21. I hate love RUNNING. It’s one of those things that I do because I should but don’t love it. Maybe one day.

  22. Just_Kelly says:

Wow what a cool, simple concept!

    Isolation = The Jiggle Buster!

  23. Nita says:

Oh my. . . did you see the last 2 nasty tricep exercises in the first link? Ouch!

  24. Tina says:

I actually enjoy dips?!?! and that makes it look fun. I used to play on the parallel bars as a kid. Kind of reminds me of that. Looks easier than the Jyze :) (sorry to bring back bad memories!)

  25. Miz says:

    ahhhh Jyze.
    You still my nemesis.

    In Equalizer love,

    Miz.

  26. Marianne says:

I would do that first pull up exercise (kind of th anti pushup?) Then I would probably hook my feet over the top and continue to yell at Jillian Michaels.

No to the hurdles, unless it comes with supplemental medical/dental insurance.

  27. Jen (@bwJen) says:

This thing looks amazing and I wanna win!!! I like the idea of the stretches and working my flabby arms but my back needs help too!! Oh no I was only supposed to pick one! hehe!

  28. Tammy says:

I didn’t even know this thing existed, wow. I would love to do Vain Vertical Rows to achieve Luscious Lats. I didn’t even know I had lats. They have been in hiding apparently.

  29. Natalie says:

While I fear this would becaome a drying rack—–out of guilt from wining I hope I’d work my ass off.

    (Literally)

  30. Shelley B says:

Vertical Row is a Go! Actually, watching you do that made me realize that yesterday when I was doing it using hanging rings at the gym, I was using me legs too much to push myself up, considering it is a back exercise! Neat giveaway!

  31. Katy says:

I’d do one of those squat workouts that the perky looking spiky blond is doing on the legs page. I would NOT do the leaping off the ground workout that the dude is doing.

    I would enjoy and appreciate.

  32. Monique says:

Definately dips to firm up the ‘old lady’ saddle bags under my arms.

  33. Lance says:

    Dips…dips would be good.

I’d call it the “Dippin’ A”

Great to hear your interview with Dr. Rus! Which reminds me, I have to get up and move something heavy. For just a few minutes…getting it in where I can…a la Miz Fit!!

  34. Gayle says:

That is stinkin’ cool! How can something so simple be so brilliant!?

  35. cammi99 says:

I’d love to try this for back and chest, both. Push ups get old.

  36. I would use this for pushups. I’m not ready yet to do real pushups (or at least not a lot of them) but wall push ups and knee push ups are getting too easy.

  37. marie says:

I’d use it to do the tricep exercises. Fight the batwings!!

  38. Mike says:

I’ve been curious about these for a while.

    Great demo/video.

  39. tricia2 says:

Vertical rows. They are my nemisis.

I haven’t finished coming up with the goals I want to focus on for the next 3 months or so (I figure the holidays will need a new game plan), but splits could easily be on the list.IM SERIOUSLY IN ON THE SPLITS…may never happen but Im gonna try…

  40. Zandria says:

I’ve never heard of that! Seems pretty cool, though. I’d definitely use it to work on my push-ups, because that’s definitely a weak area for me.

  41. I would most definitely want to do the vertical row (thats what its called? for the backboobs?)

  42. bjbella5 says:

I want these! I love my gym’s assisted pull-up and dips machine, but my chair at home just doesn’t work as well. The simplicity of this is just awesome and bonus: no little parts the kiddos could break off.

  43. MizFit says:

I need to get a video of the Tornado (today the Tiny Dictator) doing her version of the dips on there.

and then call The SOUP & let them know it’s posted.

  44. debby says:

I don’t have a clever name for an exercise, but I just had a class last night on resistance exercise, and these would be a great assist for some of those exercises.

Thanks for the link to your radio interview–I really wanted to listen to it!

  45. Diana says:

Tried to find one locally and couldn’t (thought you mentioned last time that you could get them at play again sports). Would love a free on though! And, now have the link to buy one from the site if I don’t get one. (praying to the freebee gods I get it though :)

  46. Nikki says:

    ONE HAPPY CRAZY CANADIAN…

MY BACK needs work…just finished 8 weeks of grueling recovery because my back was not in shape for me to do what I LOVE doing. (Dragon boat paddling)

    Have a great day-
    Nikki from Canada

  47. Marie says:

I had not seen these before. The dips are a must but like the variety with it.

  48. Natalie says:

    Great radio show!

  49. Nikki says:

Just listened to your radio interview…Some excellent, practical advise.
    Thanks for sharing your wisdom!
    Cheers-Nikki

  50. Gena says:

Those are awesome. I know remember a Dr. J post about them. Here’s my entry for what I would love to do in the middle of the living room:

Box jumping is a sure-fire way to make your husband laugh at you. By Gena

  51. Sagan says:

    Woo Canada!

Abs exercises all the way. I’d spin circles around that thing with the rockhard washboard abs it would give me.

And I’d hang out in this position ALL DAY LONG:

    http://www.lebertequalizer.com/gallery/Abs/slides/Abs-%20Knee-ups.html

While studying. While blogging. It would be fan-freakin-tastic.

  52. the Bag Lady says:

    Canadians, too? Yippeeeeeeee…..

I would use them to get rid of my batwings.
Oh, wait – I need those for flying.

Ummm, I’m sure I’d find some way to use them

  53. deb says:

Oh. I have been thinking about getting one of these. So portable. So potentially playful. (yeah, so potentially “how did you sprain your ankle again?” if I tried hurdles).

    What would I do?

Shoulder stands. Or “reversing the aging”.

Vertical rows! One of my fave love/hate exercises.

Hey, when you’re doing those leg-ups, keep your knees in! Or add some bridge work for pelvic floor and stretch your hip flexors. Just sayin’

  54. GrowStrong says:

    Inverted rows!! Love love love.

  55. GrowStrong says:

PS Just sent you an email at yahoo. Please to check it out.

  56. Cindy says:

OH I know I would use this for dips… I just ate it last night trying to do some from the tub…. it was too high and my foot slipped on the tile… I have tried them outside on our block wall… a bit awkward ( inspired by your get outside and do strenght training at the park video)…
and I have tried them on chairs… one fell over once.

    AAAHHH

dips I love but the perfect dip place is tough (for me I guess)

BUT as I watched the video…my mind kept thinking about my toddler and how GREAT this would be to get kids exercising. mine is a MONKEY and I am constantly using some of my exercise equip (like an old STEP) to let him climb and do “step ups and step downs” …. we have stairs and i like helping him develop some coordination.

well… there’s my ramble. This equipment looks easy to store, easy to use offers great variety! My hubs is setting up a gym spot in our garage (new treadmill shows up today) and this lil peice of equipment might just be the perfect addition!

    Thanks for the review!!!!

  57. erin says:

I have never seen this before, but I am intrigued. The vertical row looks–dare I say–kind of fun, although I’m not even sure I could do one!

I imagine you’d need a hard, non-carpeted surface for it?

  58. Karen says:

Definetly the tricep dips- great space to dip down and up

  59. Marste says:

Wow. Vertical rows for the win!

(Um. But don’t enter me. I don’t have a place to put it. :( )

  60. Oh, I Equalizer looks great and love the pull-ups (kind of reminds me of the inverted ones I do off the Smith squat machine!). It would be a great addition to my garage gym :-) .

  61. Vickie Riddle says:

Tricep exercises, although I have lots of other parts that need work too, but the hurdles, I’m sure would not be part of my routine. I can trip over a blade of grass-but that’s a whole other story. :)

  62. Rebecca Hoover says:

If I could end up with a body like yours, I would do all those hateful exercises, tricep dips sound excruciating. I’m lucky to do a push up once in awhile.

  63. suzanne says:

Definitely tricep dips and pullups for sure!

  64. Lia says:

Nothing to do with the video, but I read on Ron’s blog that you donno what venison tastes like, and as a vegan I am telling you to try it because it is sooooo yummmmy! I don’t eat it anymore, obvi, but I still remember it soooo fondly. Do try it, you must have a neighbor of friend nearby who has some in their freezer. I would send you some ASAP in a dry ice shipment, but I’m in Switz, and that would be really difficult. :D hmmm I need to try it. dare I tell you I love ostrich and bison? I know, I know…Id be a horrible vegetarian :)

  65. seekatyrun says:

I could use it to do dips, which I hate, but I am usually pretty good about doing those at the park (even though, did I mention?, i hate them). I would definitely use this for one-legged squats in the privacy of my own home. I’m balance-challenged and falling in mulch isn’t fun.

  66. MizFit says:

I imagine you’d need a hard, non-carpeted surface for it?
Ive actually used mine on carpet!

  67. Geosomin says:

Yeah! Confetti all around Canada! :)

I would definitely use it for Tricep dips. I need to figure out ways to do more arm strengthening exercises for bellydancing. This would be perfect. I am balance challenged (to say the least) so this would rock!

  68. Katie says:

These things look awesome. (ashamed I’ve not seen them yet). Been working out at home more lately, so I REALLY could use these. Tri dips, push ups, back/lats, the knee ups sound right up my alley. I wish I could say I’d use it to stretch, but I probably wouldn’t. Note to self: must start stretching more.

  69. junghwa says:

it sounds like an awesome way to workout! I would love to use it for stretching and dips.

  70. Heather says:

That thing looks awesome! I hate vertical rows – I mean, I love them in theory, but I suck at them so I obviously need practice. Hurdles? No way. Elementary school field days ruined those for me.

  71. Susan says:

YAY for Canada!!! :P I’m stoked on the idea of using it for abs. I’ve been in a bit of an ab rut lately and some of those moves look awesome!!

PS I know I’ve said it before – but you’ve got a GREAT onscreen presence. I work in broadcasting and now a natural talent when I see one ;)

  72. Aj says:

    Hi Lady! ;-)
I have lunges. And Squats- Oh wait you only asked for one! :-) This looks like an AWESOME thing to have!!
    WANT!

  73. Donna says:

Wow, that’s a pretty cool tool. Looks like it would be easy enough to assemble/disassemble since my kids’ play room–er, I mean my home gym–doesn’t have a lot of floor space. I made a vow this year to finally do pullups when a friend had to do 10 to qualify at the police academy. I like the Gravitron at my gym, but sometimes need to workout at home, and I’m leery of those things that attach to the doorway. Could just see myself pulling down the door jamb! So this would be a great way to work the same muscles at home. Also, as a former track star (yeah, I said it) married to a man who despises running, I would love to do those hamstring stretches unassisted since I’m usually on my own. A much better stretch with the resistance. Thanks. =)

  74. Hillary says:

dang….I would kill for your arms.
okay….not kill….but seriously give someone a dirty look

  75. Linda says:

totally triceps for me with that thingymabob!
anything to whittle these arm drapes I’ve got back there!

  76. DinosauRN says:

Oh, the almighty pushup — so I could get arms like MizFit!

  77. Sweet!!! The hubby and I have been looking for somehting to do reverse pull ups on. Currently using a broom stick balanced between two bar stools. Please save my broom =)

If i win…when i win…. positive thinking…I will make a video of me attempting a hurtle LOL!, and the hubby’s before and after reverse pull up =) Fingers crossed.

  78. Felice says:

My toddler has just started using the couch and coffee table as his rigged-up parallel bars. He would go WILD with this — doing his ” ‘nastics” WILD!

I don’t do ‘nastics. I’d use it for triceps and pullups.

  79. cammy says:

Say, those rows look an awful lot like pull-ups to me. :)

This seems like a pretty handy tool. will add it to the list of possibilities, right after about 10 other things (but ahead of 20 others.)

  80. Melissa Booth says:

I would love it for my 10 year old. She and I have started sit-ups each night & morning. Starting small for her 20 each time. I think she’ll get excited about it. Unfortunately, our gym only allows 12 year olds in the exercise area. I think it would work great for both of us to work on together! She and I would love it for pull-ups, dips and whatever else they have on that card that my 10 year old would be interested in. It would be her thing! And I suspect she’ll want to do the hurdles too…

  81. T says:

hurdles? i think i’ve tried hurdles once waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the day so those would obviously be fun to do! other than that … start off with doing chin-ups with that thing and eventually move to the big scary pull-up bar at the gym.

  82. Gemfit says:

Cue one happy Canadian! I’d so do dips and pull ups on it i the comfort of my own home!

  83. I would do tricep dips! Always looking for new ways to work them!

  84. eileen says:

    definitely tricep dips

  85. Barb says:

I was watching you thinking…my kids would want to use them as hurdles…then you brought it up! :) Not sure I’d try to hurdle, but I want to do those rows…and dips…oh and core…oh my!

I want a Big Yellow Exercise Helper.

  86. Holly K says:

I would use it for anything that would tone my arms!

  87. kim says:

i like the first exercise you showed and stretching on it would be cool.

my two boys would love to play on it too. i see that happening without question. : )

  88. Jaimie says:

I would love to have that to do core work at home, as I am not very good about doing my core work.
