We’ve tweeted. Committed.
We’ve said it out LOUD.
We’re ready. We’re willing.
Of us I am PROUD.

I’ve hit a plateau.
Damn Im in a rut.
One I feel all the way
From my traps to my butt.

Fitbloggins done.
Summer is here.
One thing to this misfit
Is totally clear:

I *need* to announce!
Drag you in en masse!
Who’s with me in spirit
To kick us some ass?

Whatever your workout!
Whatever you do!
#Fitafterfitbloggin’s
All about you!

Starting right now.
Starting today.
I’m *changing* things up
In a musclebuilding way.

For me it’s the UGI
And some of the RUN
Whatever it takes
To make RUT-BUSTIN’ fun.

I’m tired of my groooooove
Well worn that thing is!
*Please* to comment below
If you’re joining the Miz**

*The above is all thumbtyped as the spirit to blog just spontaneously moved me. Please to ignore any typos.

*I know. That sentence is all kinds of JIMMY LIKES ELAINE, but I wanted it to rhyme.

If you don’t believe me, YOU DON’T KNOW ANYTHING!

(Dammit… I couldn’t come up with a rhyme for that last bit. Can I still join in on the fitafterfitbloggin action?)

  5. Thumb typed? WOW! Just for that, I’m in too! I’m committed to playing and moving a bit every day (my nephew is a good counter – he’s always about 5 ahead of my actual reps) – ha!

  18. Erica says:

hahhaha jimmy likes elaine. I was never a big Seinfeld fan, but that episode was hilarious. All sounds awesome to me! I love switching things up! Keeping the body guessing is a beautiful thing. As of recent, I threw spin back into my routine one day a week and I’ve been wogging a lot more. The little peanut seems to like the wogging as she kicks away while I do it ;) . Hope you guys are having a wonderful weekend

  19. Tia says:

Sometimes it feels like you read my mind, Miz.
I need to stop vowing to start resistance training and start TRAINING.

    Today!

    I’m in.

  20. Tricia says:

Okay, anyone who can throw out a rhyme like that on the fly and thumbtype it to boot has to be obeyed! ; ) I’m in! I run one accountability group on FB, but there’s no rule that I can only be involved in one! You can never have too many partners in health and fitness!

I’m halfway through an STS/Turbo Fire rotation and will continue with that along with my Michi’s challenge that starts June 1st – okay I have 3 I’m in! Oops! Nope, it’s 4! I’m also doing the planks challenge!

LOL! I love fitness groups and challenges! Let’s rock this thing!

  24. I wasn’t at fitbloggin but I’m with you. I am totally on a roll with karate. I’m about as ass-kickin’ as a lowly white belt. I test for high white belt on Wednesday and Saturday so I’m about as in the groove as possible (at least for this week).

  33. Quix says:

I LOVE YOUR RHYMES!!!! You are awesome! Good luck busting out of your rut.

I’m in. The meltdown I had after the last race was the wakeup call I needed. I just started the new hotness this week. More running miles and 5-6 days a week strength training (rotating body parts).

Oh and how much do we rock that it is Sunday of Memorial Day weekend and we are all motivated??

  44. Miz says:

    full disclosure:
I was afraid to post this today.
I know weekends are slow blog reading times.
And, for us Americans, it’s a holiday weekend too.

I also know if no one commented I’d feel….not disappointed but more alone in my OK LADY PLEASE TO MEET YER BOOTSTRPS AND PULL YOURSELF UP BY THEM endeavor.

    Thank you
Thank you for joining me. Sometimes all it takes is saying (or blogging it) out loud.

  45. Karissa says:

I’m in a rut in my workouts for sure. Even though I didn’t make it to Fitbloggin, I’m all in!

  46. I didn’t know you are also a poet :)

    I’m in. Sooo in. :)

  49. Kicked my butt into gear. Ran to the pool as soon as I arrived home and got some vitamin D walking while hanging out with a friend instead of grabbing coffee. Bring on the changes.

  50. I’ll definitely be joining The Miz. Ryan likes to get fit :)

  51. Stacy aka FattyBoobaLatty says:

I’m in it to win it.
    I’m ready to rock.
    Time to up my game
    And rise to the top.

I couldn’t come up with anything else cause as soon as I said rise to the top the only thing playing in my head was….I rise to the top, I never eat the pig cause the pig is a cop. After that it’s all me bouncing around in the living room yelling Jump Around!

But I digress, it’s time for me to give C25k another shot so let’s do this!

  52. Nicole says:

I’m in. This seems like such a supportive community of amazing people. I would love to be a part of it!

  53. julia says:

I’m training for a powerlifting competition! so i’m with ya! It’s been nearly two years since I competed, so I’m very excited to get back to it and hopefully earn back my nationally ranked status!

  54. Yes, it’s a thing! A movement! A lots of movement! I’m printing out a gym class schedule for this week!

  55. Donna says:

I’m on board. I actually started 2 weeks ago. I was sick of losing and regaining the same few pounds. So a friend suggested that since I’m apple shaped, and therefore “built like a guy,” I should work out like a guy. So lately I’ve been hitting the weight rack hard and doing less cardio. So far, it’s working. Not sure this is the long-term answer, but I’ll keep with it as soon as I’m seeing results. I’ve also changed my diet a bit – a blend between Mediterranean diet & Flat Belly Diet. So far, so good. The kids just got out of school on Friday, so the real challenge is about to begin.

  56. Renee says:

I’ll be doing Zumba to get in shape. So yes, I will join you!

  57. Mel says:

Walking the dog, stepping it up a notch.
    Count me in too please.
Looking deep down inside to find the courage to commit to train & run either a 10k or half-marathon this fall. Bring it on!

  58. biobabbler says:

Absolutely, chica! My ankle is all healed, my work schedule is NUTS, but I’ve gotta start movin’ this increasingly puffy butt so I’m getting back into cardio and muscle-building amazing-balance-and-yogic-serenity AWESOMEness ASAP.

    =) xoxoox

  59. anne h says:

You know I was already in like Donkey Kong!
    And that is IN!

    • I really do have to step it up
      My weight’s been the same
      I really just have
      Myself to blame
      My cardio’s not up
      I’m thinking of a jog
      I really must be
      honest on my blog
I’ve got to to watch those serving sizes
      Or pay for it on
      My big ol’ thighs
      Thank you so much
      For this inspiration
So I can be part of
      the Healthy Living Nation!

  86. Irene says:

I am there with you. It’s taken me awhile to get in the groove, but I am gonna do it. I need help though. I hope some of you will motivate me.
